There's got to be some gamers on this site, who, like me, grew up on the Super Nintendo diet.

What's your top 3 for the system?

Mine:

1.) Final Fantasy 3
2.) Chrono Trigger
3.) Super Mario RPG

Let's get old school.

I loved Mario All-Stars, with the original, lost worlds, two, and three.

Super Mario World and Tetris were my favourites.
I was so addicted to Mario I must have played it a million times. Funny thing is I just beat it for the 1000th (okay I may be exagerating) time not too long ago.

A friend once told me he was at a pool party years ago when NBA Jam first came out. Some kid was running around the pool chasing somebody when he slipped and fell in. My friend stood up and yelled "BOOM-SHAKA-LAKA" as loud as he could. Everyone laughed, even the kid's mom, until she realized his arm was broken.

I have every nintendo system and the Wii is the only one iv had to replace because it fucked up. Also, iv had to buy/replace 3 games because they got scratched. I never had to replace any other system or the games. Technology is always better

not that is was 'the greatest game ever'....I had that racing game that came with 3D glasses...trippy. Funny how back then the games were what $40-60? They're still about the same price... :?

Dude, the original SNES was bulletproof. My first one did quit in 2008, after 15 years of service. I've since purchased the 2nd design, professionally refurbished. It plays like a charm.

Kids these days have no idea what real gameplay is like, either. I beat Mega Man 3, for shit's sake.

I swear that Vitalogy and Donkey Kong Country must have come out at the same time, because whenever I hear Last Exit, it reminds me of playing Donkey Kong Country.

(Note - Just checked Wikipedia, both came out in November 1994!)

I'll go a little older and say that Blades of Steel is one of the best NES games. Good memories of that one.
"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

I think I experienced my first burst of relentless anger playing the Beavis and Butthead video game...

I couldn't have been older than 8, but I had monster rage from not being able to beat that game.

    Mario Kart - that's easy.

Grew up on Nintendo, then Genesis, then Playstation, then PS 2, now PS3. The video game generation will never put down this crap till their dead. I'll be 90 beating my great grandkids' asses in 'MLB 78: The Show' on the PS15.

There's a movie called 'King Of Kong: Fistful of Quarters' - check it out. It is awesome.

I never had the chance to play super mario RPG but i agree in the first 2.

In this day and age there's no RPG in the history of time who could reach the amazingness of Final Fantasy 3 (final fantasy 6 in japan) but Chrono Trigger was pretty close ;)
