nobody would know who "fistful of mercy" was if i put it in the title, thats why i out that in the body

if you are a ben fan, this is a ben cocnert, no matter which bad he is with

I consider Harper a genius too. I thought Relentless7 was his best work and hope he keeps making sweet sweet music with them.

I didn't like Relentless7 so much. His work with Innocent Criminals was fantastic & much better, IMO. The Will to Live record is one of my favorites by them. You can't beat Glory & Consequence and Faded.

really? That's actually my favorite of all of his bands. I love all of his stuff, but this is what got me into Ben...and his solo album Fight For Your Mind - killer album

For me too FIGHT FOR YOUR MIND is the best album, I love that sound, so powerful.

Yeah, was a good time, but that building was WAY over capacity. Fortunately, my wife and I are both tall people. I casually commented to her in the event of an emergency “just climb onto the cd cases…”

We happened to be in store picking up some music when the three of them walked in – Dhani Harrison wondered why all of Ben Harper’s music was on display, but none of his…made my wife chuckle. Ben seemed to be super nice, especially since there were a couple people there obviously just looking for autographs (they grabbed a bunch of BH merch off the shelves when he got out of his SUV and was standing outside the front entrance - Easy Street Records employee - "Hey, YOU GOTTA PAY FOR THAT FIRST!"). Ended up watching the show amongst the KEXP/103.7 clique. Shawn Stewart gave my wife a hard time for not making a little more room for her, but squeezing in a little more space for Kevin Cole. Oh well, we recognized him…lol. Anyway, like I said, it was a good time! And thank god it wasn’t 80 degrees yesterday – it got HOT in there!

STONEd and dAMENT-ED

Here's me with Ben last night at Easy Street before the show. Ben was super nice and seemed very excited to debut the band. They harmonize beautifully in all their songs just as seen in the self titled track Fistful of Mercy. Dhani Harrison's musical influences clearly stem from his father too. They definitely have a good future if they can stay together IMO...loved it!
