Has everyone heard of Fistful Of Mercy!!!!

I know I may catch some criticism for posting this on the porch section, but I know Ben Harper is a beloved member of the Pearl Jam Family. Did everyone hear of the new "supergroup" formed by: Ben Harper, Joseph Arthur, and Dhani Harrison? Does anyone have any links for music by them yet?

    Just ordered the Vinyl on Amazon.com for $14. Its sold out on their website.

    Wow...those shipping rates are ridiculous! Not ordering from their site. I'll head to Amazon to get the CD and vinyl.

    I absolutely love what I have heard so far. I wish they were doing a little more extensive tour, but if they get a good reception to their tour and album, that will probably happen.

    Were there really 200 vinyl pressed? I went to the site and it was sold out so I ordered it from Amazon (which it was just shipped today) and just saw that they have two left in stock.

    I don't know how many the band had allocated to its website, but it sold out almost immediately. Amazon sold out its run in the presale as well, but then got their re-up by buying copies intended for smaller retailers. Some of the shops in the Indie network probably have copies available, but Amazon has apparently continued to buy back copies to fill orders.

    I've really been enjoying this album!

    I didn't have high expectations for this one but I picked it up for a roadtrip this morning and twice through- it's great. I highly recommend.

    I picked this album up yesterday and thought it was really great. The harmonies are great on the album, and the three of them playing together meshes really well, even though they are all playing different things (I think they layer on top of each other really well). Kind of reminds me of a Monsters of Folk that is really trying to emulate Rubber Soul era Beatles rather than the Traveling Wilburys.

    I can't stop listening to this album... I had it on shuffle all day yesterday at work. Fantastic!

    Still waiting for it to arrive. Amazon says it arrived in Waterbury yesterday morning and it still says Arrival Scan. It also says an estimated arrival date for tomorrow, the 9th. I'm hoping it comes today because I really want to listen to it.

    I really hope Ed joins them for more... I haven't been able to turn this album off since I got it... well, took a PJ radio Alpine Ice Bowl break, but back to Fistful of Mercy...
    It's like the Travelling Wilburys... I hope Ed does more with them...
    nice seeing them with the roots...
    Ben Harper is one hell of a musician, probably the most talented of my time... along with Jack White. they go from group to group, making amazing music!

    I'm late to this thread, but I was on facebook the minute they first posted up (via Ben Harper) that they had started the pre-order. It said that the vinyl was limited to 200 copies, but now when you go to their site and look up the old info that was posted it states the bit about the signed poster for the first 300 pre-orders (snagged one), but the bit about the vinyl being 200 copies looks to have been edited out...That and the fact that it is for sale on Soundstage Direct for $19.99 pretty much proves that the 200 copies thing is bunk. Would've been nice to have something so limited, but it is nice to see that all of us are going to have the opportunity to enjoy it in that format.

    Someone should tell this opportunist, $300??!! And at least one fan paid over $100 for one a couple of weeks ago. I would not be happy with the band if it were me based on the info they put out there.

    FINALLY got to listen to the album for the first time just now. I loved it. The harmonies were great throughout. This band needs to open for Pearl Jam.
