Question about Stickman

Can someone answer a question for me: I'm wondering if there's a meaning behind the Jeff Ament "Stickman" figure from way back when? Came up in a random discussion the other day and I didn't know the answer. Shame on me. Thanks.

    No real meaning has ever been divulged- I think it was made rather hastily and just represents a scream or the release of intense emotion. Or possibly the visual representation of "I'm Alive".
