OK So I am not an AFL fan at all. Rugby league is my game. I have never ever even watched a game of aussie rules.

So when my 5yo asked to take part in the auskick (kids afl) program at school because his mates were, I was like yeah what ever. So I let him do it.

NOw he has been picked to play at the Gabba this saturday at half time for the Brisbane Lions vs Sydney Swans game!! :o:lol:

So now I HAVE to watch a game!!

Any aussies out there who actually watch this game, just watch for the boy standing on the field saying he's embarrassed....that'll be my boy!

TV doesn't do AFL justice. The camera always focus' on the ball. At the ground it can be a really good game to watch as there is alot of action that goes on off the ball. Unless it's wet of course. Then it turns into the most boring game in the world. ;)
I can't go the library anymore, everyone STINKS!!

Have you ever seen a bunch of 6 year old kids playing soccer? You know how's every kid on the feild is within 6 feet from the ball. Well just like that but only with grown men.

Auskick is definately a great kids sport.

but if your talking about real AFL, You neglected to say skimpy shorts and T-shirts and big socks,
but no body armour and a full contact sport for big, burly men. 8-)

    Go Dockers! Ra Ra Ra.
