I give up!

No more!

Talked to a girl for a few hours the other night and she kind of annoyed me. After I hung up, she texted me asking if I still wanted to go out sometime. I figured what the hell. Maybe she was just being negative, over dramatic and opinionated because she was nervous.

So I meet her. Not the girl in the picture. They never are. Twice my size.. It wasn't a bad date, she wasn't a bad person to talk to, she just had a lot of differences, and I didn't find her attractive at all..

And when she said Eddie Vedder makes her want to vomit that kind of sealed the deal.

And now she keeps texting me! Telling me I'm cute and getting weird.

Get a clue.. When you stare at me awkwardly, and my head is turned towards the Bears game on the TV (She also hates sports) , that kind of means it's not going to work out. :?

Internet angle.. but I'm not sure it was even her. I didn't recognize her. She recognized me.

She wasn't not interesting, we were just on different pages and when I got the googly eyes towards the end of the date I couldn't offer the same, my eyes drifted to the game to avoid the awkwardness.

I did. We ended by 10 PM. She asked me what I was doing when I got home. I almost said masturbating. I should have. It would have hopefully stopped future awkward texts from her.

lol.. at one point in the date I was trying to be repulsive, thinking of habits I had that would turn her off.. apparently when you do that, women who are attracted to you oddly become more attracted. All of a sudden she wanted to help me change my ways.

This means I need to try less with the girls I really like I suppose.

I know people who live and die by match.com. And they are serial about. Never find the right person, but yet keep going back for more. But I guess that's dating, right? ;)

Seriously, you have to be careful with online dating. It's notorious for misrepresentation - everything from age to height, to weight and even worse. I don't know many people who have luck with it.

I've heard as much as 40% of people meet online these days.. I've gone out with 6 or 7 different people I've meet online and have found more than half the time they are completely misrepresented by their picture. Trick photography, or a picture from years ago when they were young and thin I've found to be the case.

I workout everyday. I like to be active. I keep meeting couch potatoes. There's nothing wrong with a little extra weight and I actually prefer a woman with extra meat on her bones, but when they say they are average or have a little extra weight, in most cases they are 70 lbs overweight.. I guess that's what you get when in America obese has become the average though. I'm 165 lbs.. All I ask of a woman is that she doesn't weight more than me.

It's a multi-billion dollar industry. AshleyMadison.com was able to offer $25M for naming rights for New Meadowlands Stadium. And that's a site specifically for people who want to cheat on their spouses/significant others. The only place I've heard them advertise is Howard Stern.

I was online briefly (not ashleymadison.com) and my patience wore out very quickly. One guy I met was obviously gay (not that there's anything wrong with that), others just misrepresented themselves on weight, height, age, etc. Just not worth it.

I definitely won't pay for it. The site I'm on is free.

Something around 60% of this country is either overweight or obese.

I've met lots of people on the internet. Never paid for stupid membership fees, all you need is a rockin ad. Most were not what they said (so guys lie as much as girls do) and the rest were alright. I did date a few for a while.

So, if you go to a PJ pre-party, (which BTW you know about from here) and you meet some people from the boards, and you hit it off really well, are you gonna deny that you met off the internet?

I saw a CougarLife ad on TV while watching the show 'Baggage'...what a trainwreck! and yes, they did have a few Cougar/Cub themed shows.

maybe i should start a match making company. i've ran across a couple of single fans in the greater chicago area. i think one might be a decent match for you if you are ok with her being a cubs fan.
