Vs. seems to be very modern

I listened to the album today going to work and back and I got this sudden feeling that this album would have been just as huge if it came out now. The songs are so different, their up-down, fast-slow, full of rage, and I think the younger music fans would like it now. I was thinking they should re-release it with different artwork or something. I would totally stand in line again and buy it all over.

  • I'd rather they released a new album which is as good as Vs. :)

It's timeless. As much as I love "Ten", its production is still in the early 90's, if that makes sense. "Vs." couldn't been made any year.

I also think the "no video" policy helps "Vs." seem more timeless. Listening to "Alive, "Even Flow" and "Jeremy" conjures up images of the video in a lot of cases, helping it feel a little more dated than the rest of their albums. Does that make sense to anybody else?
