    it was disappointing Chalky and his men missed Narcisse. Dr Narcreep's sinister manipulation of Maybelle was sickening, :twisted: tho he hasn't made her suffer...yet.

    is it just a matter of time before it goes beyond business with Margaret and Rothstein?

    as for the tommy gun ambush on the brothel in Chicago. that was retaliation from O'Banion's north side gang for his murder. Johnny Torrio didn't order it... not sure if he left the building in time to get out unscathed?

    was surprised to see Nucky bitch slap Lansky and Eli hold a gun to his head...he gave up Masseria and Petrocelli. Narcisse is in with them too and has the mayor in his pocket....damn. how's this war gonna go down? :shock:

    so glad Nucky and Chalky have Harrow on their side

    i've been avoiding this thread because i have been a few episodes behind all year. then i watched a couple last night. woke up this morning and for some reason thought i was caught up.....but still have one more to go. of course i didn't realize it until after looking in here. :fp:

    totally wish i can erase the last 2 pages of this thread from my brain now. son of a.... :x

    don't worry.. watching it will still be great..

    what was weird for me was how Chalky didn't take care of some security for his family.. or maybe i missed him doing it.. wouldn't it make sense for Narcisse to come after Chalky's family after he took his "Daughter", especially when he can't find Chalky?

    Now that theyve accepted Elis son into 'the group',
    and the entire Agent Knox situation,
    I'm wondering exactly what is Eli going to do .

    Are they just gonna whack Knox, or might Harrow do it?

    Cannot believe there are ony 2 left,
    I have a feeling theyre gonna leave us hanging.

    Yeah I think Agent Knox is going to get clipped in these next 2 episodes. I bet Eli's son does it.

    Next weeks finale is set up to be fantastic.

    The whole Gillian storyline took me by surprise.

    "Less convincing/explicable is why wise old Leander Whitlock felt a need to entrap Gillian by engaging the Pinkertons to produce her confession over the killing of the otherwise irrelevant Roger McAllister. Leander says to Gillian, after the Pinkerton reveal, that he “owed Louis” — that is, The Commodore — something, and that’s he’s sure Gillian can understand that. But since Leander’s interior life is totally unknown to us — he’s only ever been seen as a lieutenant-of-practicality who encourages characters to scrounge about from one exigency to the next — it’s never been clear to the audience in which direction Leander’s fundamental loyalties might have been pledged, in the years since Jimmy Darmody killed The Commodore. (Earlier in the episode, Leander is encouraging Gillian to sell the big grand house for $37,000, the better to continue her custody battle over Junior Darmody. A guy as rich seeming as Leander isn’t doing this for that amount of money.)"

    Just watched the episode. Can't wait to see the Nucky & Eli story next week. Also, nothing happened in Chicago this week but the previews lead you to belief something is going down next week. Boardwalk and GOT series always seem to go by so fast, I think this has been the best Boardwalk Empire season to date!
