Really, just heard Lady Ga Ga for the first time tonight (yes, I have done well) and all I can think of is "all that she wants is another baby". Not to my taste.

    I think she is the new Madonna. Mildly talented but can sell what she has and a master at the business. And she can put on a fucking show whether on stage or at a yankee game. I have a feeling she'll be around. Not my cup of tea, but when I hear her music at a bar, I usually find myself dancing. I think I just shared too much about Ga Ga on this board.

    ^^ Whatever you think of her, she's more than mildly talented. She was accepted into Julliard school of music in NYC.

    The comparison with Madonna is pretty good, though I also think Madonna had better tunes. When all is said and done though, Lady Ga Ga could make millions upon millions if she plays her cards right, she seems a clever girl and knows exactly what she's doing. It's a complete farce, but that's what sells.

    Haha!

    1) It opened up my eyes to the fact that I know lyrics to songs from many years ago, that I never knew I had paid any attention to
    2) Not really because, due to replying to this, it is now back in my head
    3) See response 1. Clearly the same has happened to you.

    It could be worse. I shared the fact it was in my head with my friend, who told me she had 'I Knew a Man Called Michael Finnegan' in hers.

    Anyone who has hearing and who was alive during the time that song was big knows the lyrics. There was no escaping that song. :?
