i believe there is a colony of ants planning to protest... Protest Ants they are called... they don't like Catholics much.oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.0

Our government is the potent, the omnipresent teacher. For good or for ill, it teaches the whole people by its example. Crime is contagious. If the government becomes a law-breaker, it breeds contempt for law; it invites every man to become a law unto himself; it invites anarchy. - Louis Brandeis0 -

Sorry don't want to be rude and I understand what you are trying to do with this tread but what i don't get is why you just don't protest. I have protested catholic schools in my area.
if people want to protest the mosque, that is their right don't be upset that people don't protest catholic churches.0 -

well protest then. up to you. i can't be bothered with it...are you gonna protest catholic schools as well?[/quote]
I was just asking a questions, not stating my opinion. Its just a funny observation of how the religious act.0 -
It's more actually an observation of how fear or fear politics work in practice. People are more afraid of the unknown, so it's easier to paint a picture of enemies than accepting of different peoples, ideas and cultures.HeidiJam wrote:was just asking a questions, not stating my opinion. Yes, both are equally irrational and dumb.HeidiJam wrote:Its also a generalization " oh there muslums, there gona blow us up" So the catholic generalization should be " oh there a priest, there going to molest little kids" Right???CONservative governMENt

BTW, i would say a majority of Catholic churches already have their own schools attached to them so.......So I'll just lie down and wait for the dream

The people you need to ask this to are the Tea Party people.
Most of the rest of us think it is utterly ridiculous to condemn the entire Catholic Religion for the despicable acts of a few... and just as ridiculous to condemn the entire religion of Islam for the acts perpetrated by militant psychos.
...
As well a not tying all Christians to the 'God Hates Fags' fringe element.
...
Ask the Tea Partiers... they are the ones making all the ruckus.Allen Fieldhouse, home of the 2008 NCAA men's Basketball Champions! Go Jayhawks!
