a bender

I'm on a bender it's 90 degrees
racing through the streets like the wind in the trees
fell down, got picked up by a woman in devil drag
held my hand all the way down
couldn't help but smile (looked like a frown)
when I saw the man in the robe wearing a crown

Still the sun is setting me on fire
blacktop and asphalt melding with tire
had water thrown on me by a woman in angel drag
held my hand as the burning receded
held my head as my mind was treated
held my body as I lay defeated

Soaking in the wetness of my clothes
filling in the recesses of my nose
was handed a tissue by a woman in Jesus drag
held my hand as my body became whole
shook my head to free my soul
freed my mind as I regained control

Freed my mind as I regained control
a handhsake between body and soul
walked beside Jesus in God drag
held my hand as I walked the path
gripped my arm as I preached of wrath
snapped my neck as I destroyed his math
