Not the most creative band in the world, but that guy sure can sing.
Love .45. That is a really great song. Any other fans here?

they're pretty much the only thing close to a "hard rock" band that i won't turn the radio off when their song comes on.
Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
    Butthead: Huh huh.

Big fan here. Sound of Madness is a great, great album and the title track is one of my favorite songs to be released in the past 5 years.

They have some good songs, and he does have a great voice....in the studio, when I saw them live he mimed the chorus of I Dare You, which is just ridiculous in my book.

  • Awesome, so easy.  Wish they made it that easy, here.  Clicked a few buttons on the phone and presto, blammo....a nice purple vinyl.

They get played a ton here in Philly on WMMR.  Think they are really underrated.  The Smith and Myers stuff is really good too

I saw them a while back when they opened for Kiss here.  Kiss was kind of average, but we really enjoyed Shinedown :)
  • Let’s keep this thread towards the top! I don’t think they get enough respect. Anyone have some cool stories, merch, favorite albums?

I have seen them twice (Wish it were 20+ times). First was when they were with Godsmack in Greenville, SC and the second was their small show at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach (1st night only) I also had tickets the the deep dive tour that got cancelled. My box set should be here tomorrow and besides that I also have a pick from one of the shows, a drum stick tossed by Barry, and a hatch show print poster.

My favorite album is probably Leave a Whisper, but closely followed by Threat to Survival. Some beautiful songs through all of them though.
