With your sour smile and two dollar suit
Scruffy face and scuffed boots
Selling souls and lies, door-to-door
too good to be true? "And so much more..."
But who doesn't want a fantasy world all their own?
reap where one has not sown

My veins are popping,
popping a pill
chasing it down
with vodka and tears that could kill

What will become of this emotion sickness?
I will wrap it in a vomit bag,
complete with a greeting tag,
tied with a big red bow.

I will send it to you,
you who deserves it most
along with hope,
on the wings of a firefly,
over the lake of roadblocks and walls,
I hope in time, it reaches you
Giving the credit to whom it is due
