How big is the PJ folder on your PC?

I was just doing a backup and copied my PJ folder to an external hard drive.
It includes everything PJ - boots, video, pictures, etc.

Grand Total - 38.2 GB with 2,479 items.

I'm trying to figure out if I've crossed over into the obsessive zone.

What are your numbers?

Uhh either you have very compressed stuff or you meant to write GB for gigabytes.

I have several TBs, never really worked it all out. Region of around 25,000 files.

Then if I was to put my DVDs on my PC then may even get into the petabyte range :shock:

I always thought I was bad... My collection is bordering on about ~6.5 GB of music and another ~1.5 GB of pictures and videoes from concerts... But I know there's gotta be some people with so much more... I don't download any music off the internet, I like to purchase hard copies of everything... so that kind of limits me a little more...

i also have countless amounts of pictures/video from the last 6 shows i have been to


its to th point that my hard drive is full i cant buy and download any of the 2010 boots yet..

My PJ folder is 216GB but I guess it's b/c I prefer to have everything (if possible) in FLAC so all of bootlegs I own, all the albums I store this way.

I think the last time I checked I was hovering aroung 65 GB on a 1 TB hard drive. About to purchase a 160 GB ipod to keep all my PJ boots and my CD collection all in one place.

I have about 120GB with approx 17000 files.
Still need to get some of the 1995 and 1998 boots, than I will be happy.

My PJ folder is up to 280gb now and my music totals around 5tb on the hard drives but I have around 500 dvd discs full of stuff which is not on the computer. I need a holiday from life just to keep up with it all

I feel that to quantify the amount of Pearl Jam one has is on par with counting your breathes in a day. I may take more or less than you but to me, each breath is essential and not one breath is wasted. That being said, I have enough to live. That's all I need.

Seeing how people burn their CD's using different compression rates, the real question should be "how many hours of PJ music do you have on your hard drive?"

I have:
767 items

14.5 GB

This is music only and does not include DVD's
and ITW is in a different folder.

I've scaled mine down recently and decided to give the axe to most of the audience recordings that weren't that great from pearljambootlegs.org. I was becoming too obsessed by owning every show and I only have time to listen to so much Pearl Jam and try and listen to other music too. I own an obscene amount of official boots and they'll always be the pride of my collection so what's on the pc and laptop is secondary although thats still probably 180GB. I still think I have too much to be honest.. :?
