section 67 at MSG directly behind the stage

I just scored a pair through ticketshithole in sec 67 a few rows back for MSG1. thats directly centered right behind the stage. anybody ever sit in this section or something similar? I'm just wondering what it's like I've never been to a show behind the stage. Thanks.

    I sat there for MSG II in 2003. You're close to the stage but for the most part you're looking at the back of the band. Ed and Mike usually do their part to get everyone some face time but they usually face front.

    You'll get some kind of lovin- one or two songs played right to ya ! They did it in Philly in 05.

    Had the time of my life at Philly '05 sitting behind the stage. My second favorite seats ever (sat nice and close to Stone at Reading...that was my fave)! You'll have a great time. The band is nice and close, no silly stage props to obstruct your view, and as others have said, the band always plays at least one song directly to the back of the stage. The boys handle the rear view situation perfectly.

    Those are really good. Sat at the Boston Garden 10 rows up in the back. Awesome way to watch the show. You can watch the crowd in the front go bananas.

    tickets are secured and there's even an extra single picked up in section 68 row j !

    not sure why i bought it....but i couldn't help myself! it looks close!!!

    GREAT POINT! Seeing how the crowd is responding during the songs adds something to the show for sure! Kinda' like seeing a show through the bands eyes.

    I got section 66 for MSG 2. I'm psyched for this. Now I just have to wait 2 and a half months. Fuck it, I'm still sitting insanely close.

    I bought two singles for my friends. Will they be able to move to a different seat so they can sit together? Anyone ever pull that in MSG?

    if you cant see for any reason, the venue will hook you up with different...possibly better seats. I do it all the time. It applies to the entire arena.

    Not so fast there fugawzi, I have seats in the same section. My wifes gonna Rutu everyone near us and iam going to Gary Roberts anyone left and get that tamborine!!!!!!! LOL I'll be wearing the Pens jersey look out! Those seats behind the stages can be mighty sweet sometimes. Enjoy the shows.

    Saw the Dead from back there once. Its actually pretty cool. As someone mentioned, you kind of get the performers view of the crowd in front of you, which is cool. It is way better IMO than being in the last row in the back.

    AWESOME SEATS!!! Sat there in 2003 night 1. You cans even see me on the LATG DVD several times! You are right on top of Matt Cameron.
