so I made the mistake of recommending Heathers to this gothic type tween at my work a year or so ago. I told him it was a cult classic (movie term). The little prick thought I meant it was a film involving witches--probably b/c the immature brat thinks I'm one...fucking little tweens! He wants to be a writer--going to school for it. I told him the dialogue is very unique and awesome--you should check it out...the deuchbag still hasn't seen it.

don't get me wrong. I could care less if people have seen the movie or not. I just hate when I give good advice, time and energy away to people that I shouldn't have. fucking tweens! :x

next time recommend the craft to the little prick. tell him you were a consultant on the film.
    hear my name
    take a good look
    this could be the day
    hold my hand
    lie beside me
    i just need to say

Can't be too surprised, kids nowadays think vampires are vegetarians, have no fangs and play baseball.

I remember seeing this movie when I was very young and it was a bit unsettling.

But now I am a grown up, and I know a few Heathers, this movie is totally substanciated.
  • wow. i just picked this up on blu-ray for $10. while watching the interviews with everyone from just a couple years ago, the writer said he had made a comment to winona after the movie was done that he was going to write a sequel. winona said (back in '88, and even now) she'd love to do a sequel, but the writer said he wasn't really serious.

Wasn't there talk about a sequel being made a while back? Personally I think it should be left alone...it was perfect for its time.

I agree..I can't really picture a sequel being any good.
These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.

I just read about the actress, Kim Walker, who played the main bitchy Heather Chandler. I didnt realize that she passed away back in 2001, ironically of a brain tumor.

And so you see, I have come to doubt
All that I once held as true
    I stand alone without beliefs
The only truth I know is you.
