    I remember reading somewhere that it's about a girl he liked at the time but didn't like him back. She had a crush on Ed i guess.

    That record and song aren't too bad in my opinion. I used to listen to it quite a bit. And to those who haven't heard the song, the line with Eddie's name goes, "If I was Eddie Vedder, would you like me any better?" (That's the only mention of his name)

    I mean, it's an OK song, I just wanna know why they couldn't name it something else, instead of "Eddie Vedder."

    im a huge, huge Local H fan, and this is one of my favorite songs. but yeah the title should be "as good as dead", just like the album- it makes more sense than eddie vedder
