i've read so many rock biographies i'm getting them mixed up....recently saw a clip of Neil Young talking about record exec Ahmet Ertegun, and i know Neil liked him

but i know i've read about a band that worked with Ahmet that didn't get along with him so well, and they put a line in one of their songs about the "bald little man" or something like that

does any one have any idea what band that was?
"I'll tell you what: If all I had was Pearl Jam, and I didn't have another band in the world, I would not be worried. Because in there is the essence of making great music. You don't have to use it all at once, but it's there." - Neil Young

i don't know that answer but i do know that the only reason led zeppelin reunited and had that one off concert in the 02 arena was out of respect for him.

i found the answer to my own question...on page 281 of the AWESOME neil young biography "Shakey"

the band was - the Rockets, who later became Neil's band Crazy Horse

Ahmet came to check them out, and they sang a song about a "dirty old man with a shiny head who washed his hands in money"

so he was turned off to them, for some reason...
