ROCK BAND OR BAND HERO FOR WII?????

Ok deciding which to get Mr K for xmas this year....Rock Band or Band hero for Wii/ As I have no idea, can anyone steer me in the direction as to the better of the two and which is most compatable with other games ie RB, BH & GH????
