Peter Schiff was right (and still is).

It's between him and Linda McMahon for the CT Senate seat.

3rd place with 23%. Not bad for not being a former politician (Simmons at 28%), and CEO of a company with incredibly high cable ratings.

    Next time, Pete.

the question is how do guys who historically has shown values that one supports operate once inside the GOP circus? ... will he stay true to his conservative roots or will he be just another exploitive fucker looking to bank roll his retirement?

I’ll bite….what concerns you about his FP? I’m assuming from what I saw of him in ’08 that his policy is isolationist?

You’d have to think that you would be exponentially better off by having someone with some integrity elected, even if he became corrupt. At least their failings would be clearly laid out in black and white for us all to see. If Schiff did an about-face on something he’s stood firm on forever, it would be easier to demand accountability than with a career politician who has double-talked his way through every conversation of record on that topic….

sure ... but look at mccain ... the guy was a bit of a maverick back in the day ... he supported action on climate change and challenged the GOP ... and he got a big time smackdown ... now, look at him ... sad and pathetic!
