Did anyone read Ishmael? They'll know what I'm talking about..
Get rid of agriculture and the land will allow our numbers to be natural and maintainable. Generally, with other species, the only thing that causes hunger is overpopulation. Nature weeds out the overpopulated.
Earth was not designed to hold 6 billion humans without us altering food resources (agriculture), which in effect, because agriculture is not natural, our numbers are always booming as we make more and more food. As little as 100 years ago in our 1 million year existence we've increased our population 6x!.. a blink of an eye in the scheme of things and we don't even know what mother nature as in store for this influx since it hasn't quite caught up to us yet.
In other words, feed 6 billion, and we'll make 7 billion. Come up with a way to feed 7 billion and we'll make 8 billion people.. Eventually we'll overrun the land, run out of resources, the balance will be over whelmed and we'll go extinct. If you keep feeding hungry people, they will make more hungry people.
