haven't been into them since purple. i'm really digging this new album.

    there's actually been several. here's one of them:

    do a search on stone temple pilots and the threads on the new album are from page 17 or so and recent. "stone temple pilots finished mastering new album", "stone temple pilots between the lines" etc etc.

    I really dig the new album. I hear tonnes of old school Aerosmith in the songs.

    I liked it a lot at first, but now I'm just indifferent to it. It doesn't have that same feel the rest of their records have, the same soul. I find it a tad on the generic side.

    Best album of 2010 for me! I listen to it every day, it is their most consistent album since Purple/Tiny Music.

    The new STP album is the biggest disappointment of 2010 by far, I still can't get over just how poor it is. They really shouldn't have bothered getting back together if this is all they could come up with.

    I like the new album a lot too. Far better than their last one in my view. Favorite tracks are Cinnamon and Maver.

    Totally agree. I'm not saying it's their best stuff ever, but I think it's solid from start to finish.

    i really like it but something doesn't stand out to me idk. i would think i'd be very into new stp but i wasn't all pumped about it. still very very solid though. a few songs were really great.
