I'm working on a project & I'm trying to think of any good covers that bands (besides Pearl Jam) have done of the Beatles or solo members.
ANY suggestions....BESIDES 'I AM SAM' soundtrack...

thanks.

Don't forget Ray Charles "Eleanor Rigby" and Johnny Cash did a cover of "In My Life" ...great versions!
Oh, and I just finished watching the movie "Funny People" and Adam Sandler sings Lennon's "Real Love" that isn't bad either, not bad for Adam Sandler anyway! Please post all your findings once you've made your compilation, I'd love to see what you come up with, Thanks and Good Luck!

Oh and don't for get the Foo Fighters covering Wings' "Band on the Run" and G n' R rocking through "Live and Let Die."
  • She Said by Gov't Mule or The Black Keys
Check out the I Am Sam soundtrack
Ben Harper, The Black Crowes, and Sarah McLachlan do some pretty good covers.

they are a small band out of new haven, they are incredible, made up of several members of the band The Breakfast...check both out, such talent

Neil Young - A Day in the Life.

Think he covers it quite a bit ... I lucked out on seeing him cover it and be joined by McCartney
