Went to see my mum and dad yesterday.After an few hours with my 3 boys smashing the house and garden up its time to set off.So im sat in the car saying goodbyes.When my dad goes at the last sec.owww im throwining away my technics sl-120mk2 turntable and records you didnt want them did you...

Now before he can take another breath im out the car running to the garage and the black sack he had pointed at when saying the above.throw myself at the bags and wrap arms around in a protective hug.mine i shout mine.

cut long story short ..i now have a player in my house at long last ..and 60 of my dads old vinyls which i grew up with him playing.never in a million year did i think he would just throw them away.

rolling stones ,beatles,neil diamond,moody blues ,wings,simon and garfunkel,elvis, elo..to name a few

i might not play the abba .

to think if he had not said they would now be at the local dump or charity shop.he was going to take them as soon as i left.
