I've been a veggie for all of two weeks now (stop laughing :P ) but, for the second time in my life. The first was between the ages of 8 and 18. I chose to become a full vegetarian again for moral reasons.

So come, pull up a pew, share some recipes and your reasons for your diet choice :thumbup:
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

    In my 4th year as a vegan - for ethics, rather than health, but I've enjoyed the health benefits too.

    Some of my favorite recipes come from Isa Chandra Moskowitz's books - Veganomicon, Vegan Brunch, and Vegan with a Vengeance. Her recipes are seriously awesome.

    :thumbup: 20 years... wow. :shock: I would be going into my 18th year but I went to the dark side when I was 18 and ate a burger :roll:

    I had been considering going back to my veggie ways for a while but I watched The Cove two weeks ago and literally there and then I stopped eating meat and fish (I ate fish but not meat before). I feel 100% better physically and mentally... it may sound tacky but it feels like i've had a weight lifted from my mind :oops:

    I eat a lot of quorn as due to health reasons I have to avoid soya but i'm hoping to find some new recipes for vegetables, nuts and protein substitute :)

    JaneNY - I assume Veganism isn't for the feint hearted, how goes it at the beginning? Do you miss dairy?
