Who here listens to HC/punk?

My musical trajectory went something like this:

Nirvana/Pearl Jam =>Sonic Youth/Fugazi => Minor Threat/Black Flag

For a while when I got deep into punk I stopped listening to Nirvana/Pearl Jam for some reason, but in my older years they all coexist happily within my brain. (In fact I recognize that my all time favorite band is Nirvana)

But anyways...who here loves some good ol' fashioned HC/Punk...short songs, pissed off lyrics, violent mosh pits (:))

    Oh my God.....Fugazi.

    What an inspirational band. The day Fugazi is played on commercial radio, television or is used for advertisement is the day I'll end my own life.

    I love 7 Seconds. Seen them live a couple times and they still put on a fun show.

    Great topic!

    I have been going to hc/punk shows since the mid nineties. Bands I mostly listen to nowadays include Cro-Mags, Bad Brains, Negative Approach, The Blitz, Cock Sparrer, Cockney Rejects, Sham 69, The Hope Conspiracy, Rise and Fall, Ramones, Black Flag, ...

    Went to see cro-mags last monday. were great again, setlist included lots of age of quarrel songs, 2 bad brains cover plus the rise and fall (Leeway) intro.

    I would do unforgivable things to be able to go back in time and see Black Flag w/ Henry after releasing "Slip It In" and/or Fugazi at any point and time in their career.
