when sleep finally closes my weary eyes
I pull back the clouded veil before me
what I see shining ahead
luminescent pathways leading me forward
through the haze to the new world
enlightenment, release, understanding
pearls of wisdom drop gently into my hand
from damp vines meandering overhead
a wish to share these gems with you
but your face...your face eludes me


as someone wise once said....castles made of sand melt into the sea... eventually
