best sounding home cd shelf system system?

i'm looking to buy a new home cd shelf system cause my current one is going out and i thought maybe some of you guys could recommend one that has a nice sound and quality to it that isn't too expensive? i'd like something with a 3 cd changer at least. any suggestions? thanks.

edit- sorry didn't mean to put 'system' twice.

    Onkyo and Denon make pretty decent mini stereo systems under a thousand
