All shows. All 10c tickets must be picked up by the 10C member (with photo ID) at the show a few hours before the show. You'd have to go to the venue, pick up your tickets then give them to your alternate.
That's to prevent scalpers from getting their paws on the best seats.

Actually, you can sell the tickets to another 10C member at Face Value. You would contact the 10C Staff (I would be safe and do it before the deal) to inform them that you will not be able to attend; and, they will coordinate to have the tickets available for the 10C member that is buying the tix. I did this for Albany '06. Not sure if the policy has changed since then though.
It's easy to grin, When your ship comes in, And you've got the stock market beat. But the man worthwhile, Is the man who can smile, When his shorts are too tight in the seat

so after deciding that i wouldnt be able to attend, i could contact 10c, explain, and they will make my tickets available to the person i decide to sell them to and then i wouldnt have to pick them up at the venue?
It clearly says in the email about the ticket sales:
"No refunds. No Exchanges. No Transfers. Reselling of Ten Club tickets will result in revocation of all future ticket privileges and suspension of your Ten Club membership."
Now... I'm sure you could sell the tickets to whoever you want after you pick them up at the show... but don't count on the Ten Club being able to arrange a transfer before the show date.

Just contact 10C and ask them. They have done transfers on a case by case basis. This is how I got to go to Ottawa. Better to see another 10C member in the seat than an empty seat.

This is right on - the 10C did, at one time, try to accomodate this, but I think those days are over - way too much hassle for them....

no you have to be there. they'll only hand the tickets to the person who has the tenclub membership
i was just told something different.
".......you could look into the possibility of Ten Club allowing you to transfer them to another Ten Club member. This is an electronic process and would not necessitate your trip to the venue. Ten Club would simply reassign your tickets to another member based on an agreement between you, the other member, and Ten Club.
You would be responsible for the cost of the tickets until your other party sends you payment for them. The transfer of the tickets is not dependent on exchange of payment (from Ten Club's perspective)."
i just bought a pair of tickets to SC with this in mind. is this not possible?
That being said, they have done transfers as a courtesy. There is no guarantee that they will do it this tour, but I would check with them. They did it for me in 2006, and I had nothing but love from theTenclub. They have always been great to me.

I will scalp/ticketmaster if I need to, but if you will have an extra, I'll take it.
Thanks.
