    &&&&&&&&&&&&&&
  • My god, this is the most sad and depressing thing I've ever written.
I knew it all along, see?
  • And it had a typo.

    and in the attic
    sunbeams squeeze between
    cracked joists
    holes in rooftop
    and a well worn chimney
in which i dwell as if a bat cluster
    and me
    a family circle

    somehow i have always been
even when i had to become
i was this before i knew

    was i this sun glow
    was i this magic
    was i ever even born
    sometimes

    sometimes i think out loud
    and say noisily
my creation (ownness)(looking at my palms)
as those old rings holding up forest after forest
    and me
    my tiny homestead
    is me
    you can tell so
    because here comes the sun
    again
    all torn down by man
for poetry through the ceiling. ISBN: 1 4241 8840 7

    "Hear me, my chiefs!
I am tired; my heart is
    sick and sad. From where
the sun stands I will fight
    no more forever."

    Chief Joseph - Nez Perce
