And did you know that the Orange County Health Department send out an advisory that you should get a Hepititis shot if you plan on surfing off it's coast because the water is so filthy?
Also, what about those parents who do not give their kids vaccinations because they believe it causes Autism? Their kids with measles may interact with your kids who are too young to receive measles vaccinations.

Are there reason to oppose Illegal Immigration? Yes... there are.
But this one... kind of a stretch, don't you think?
Hail, Hail!!!

Our government is the potent, the omnipresent teacher. For good or for ill, it teaches the whole people by its example. Crime is contagious. If the government becomes a law-breaker, it breeds contempt for law; it invites every man to become a law unto himself; it invites anarchy. - Louis Brandeis
lol... that was my reaction to... I figured it was a typical Fox immigration piece about the overall health of our nation (jobs, economy, crime etc.), when I started reading it and realized that it was actually about "health, I was a bit amused.

...but if you're going with that, I'm sure you take all the vaccinations that the guv'ment recommends you to as well, no?
(edit) As for exotic diseases appearing more widespread in the US, couldn't that also be associated with Americans increasingly taking vacations in exotic places? Just a thought.
