If I'm driving along with a man I'm dating, and we hear Bruce's version of this song on the radio, and we both start singing it at the top of our lungs, I'm probably going to say to him:
I finally found you!
OMG! I'm almost breaking out in goosebumps looking at all the Bruce videos:
Is a dream a lie if it don't come true, or is it something worse . . .
So, when are the top frontwomen going to be listed? Some of the best singers i.e., Aretha Franklin didn't front bands, but I think the following are excellent singers and frontwomen.

All these type of lists are kinda silly and very subjective of course, so here I go w/ my list:
1. Mick Jagger (I mean c'mon that guy was absolutely the man back in the day, certainly not now)
2. Jim Morrison (like that article said either it was the greatest show you ever saw or the worst, Jimbo sure knew how to perform and be in front ofa crowd)
3. Robert Plant
4. Bruce Springstein
5. Bono (in the old days)
Others that should be on the list, even though I'm not a big fan but realize they're gravitas so to speak are: David Lee, Axl, Tyler, etc,
As you can imagine my favorite front man is Eddie Vedder. Kinda shocked that he made this top ten, good for him to be recognized . . .

Someone mentioned Bob Marley. The man was a genius. I have a box set of his music that includes some acoustic versions of some of his songs -- mesmerizing, what a voice.
All those who seek to destroy the liberties of a democratic nation ought to know that war is the surest and shortest means to accomplish it.
I'm guessing... no one here has ever seen 'The Clash'.
I would put Joe Strummer on the list because... well, if you ever seen 'The Clash', you'd know exactly what I'm talking about.
...
And no one can beat Freddie Mercury... the guy was fucking amazing.

I agree with those who said DLR should be on this list. Whether one likes VH or not, likes the man himself or not, he is the epitome of front men!!!!
