I just watched My Morning Jacket's "Okonokos" DVD again and it still blows me away. This is an amazing DVD, one of the best I've ever seen. Unreal tracks played here such as "Run Thru, Dancefloors, and Gideon" to name a few. Does anyone else have any DVDs they enjoy as much as this beauty?

    Dig is a great movie:

Also, I'm sure someone will incorrectly feel the need to call me a hippie but Bittersweet Motel (Phish) is one of the best documentaries I've ever seen:

Add to my list Bad Religion at the Palladium...done very much in the style of the Last Waltz with the interviews in between songs. Not on the same level but still a really good watch

I need to get this...badly. I think Netflix has it actually! I'd like to watch it before I purchase, but I don't doubt it's incredible.

My favorites among my collection are:

    - Obviously all the PJ DVD's
    - The Black Crowes - Freak N' Roll...Into The Fog. This DVD is an amazing performance of some of their best tunes. It really shows off how kick ass this band is live and how they're stage presence is like no other.
    - Jeff Buckley Live in Chicago - Great, great DVD...Jeff playing some of his greatest songs and his talent really shines in this show.
    - Type O Negative - Symphony For The Devil. Type O Negative...what else can I say. RIP Peter Steele. :(

First of all shame on you and secondly get both as quickly as possible.
The 40 Watt show is fantastic! Of course Jason is on there so he steps up to the mic several times. I think they did an excellent job of capturing the atmosphere of the show. Cooley marries a couple on stage....he's ordained through some kind of "point, click, done" church or something...can't remember exactly what he says. Also, turn the lights way down low, just a small light on Cooley for a bad ass version of Cottonseed.
There is not a bad moment in the show....you'll watch it over and over again...I definitely have.
