More Oil?!?!?!

So apparently on July 20 an underwater oil pump exploded in Beijing China. 5 Mins. ago it was a headline on Yahoo. And now, as I write this post, I had to search for it.

Lookin at the pics, does anyone else feel like it looks waaay worse than what happened here in the US? And why are we just hearing about this now, 2 days later...when the oil is already on their beaches?!?!? Are they trying to make it look worse than what is happening here...so that we.....forget?

Goddamn the governments for letting this happen. Why havent we come up w/ an alternative to oil? And since we cant come up w/ an alternative, why cant we figure out how to keep it regulated so we dont run into these problems?

Whats the point in the "war on drugs" or stopping the hole in the ozone from getting bigger when all this other shit is going on....

Doesnt anyone realize that WE ARE SCREWED!?!?!?!?!?

and im not an activist or that involved in politics...but this is just sickening......its hard enough to wake up in the morning and go to work and be a slave to society...but with all this looming over head...where is the hope???

    The hope is that people still drive to work using the oil to fuel their cars and ignore the cause, yet act shocked and disgusted by the effect. "We are screwed" because we keep screwing ourselves.

    yeah communism is such a great thing....state run media concealing everything, no care whatsoever of environmental things, and then slave labor..... our news in USA only reports what is good for their agenda. If it does not further that then you never hear about it, or it is one and done.
