damn. one of the best characters in all of sports. good for him. man i hope the cubs play their ass off for him. he deserves it.

    I think the humiliation that the Cubs have brought actually accelerated his retirement plans. Used to be a pretty respected manager, now he is as big of a joke as the Cubs.

    No matter how the Cubs play the rest of the season (which will be terrible), the damage is done.
