    This is so typical of Fox News to be the first ones to cover a story like this. It is so obvious that Shirley Sherrod is not a racist. Fox news likes to find any thing they can to make the Obama administration look bad to the american people, but I think the only ones who look bad are the ones at Fox News. People need to boycott Fox News and the ridiculous bull**** they report about 24 hours a day.

    I have been reading Howard Zinn's biography, You Can't Be Neutral on a Moving Train, after hearing you speak of him at the Noblesville, IN concert 5/7/10. Learning one's history is so important. I am a licensed social studies teacher, but currently a stay at home mom. When my girls enter school and I become a history teacher, I can't wait to incorporate Howard Zinn into my lessons. Kids need to know the REAL history of the United States! I think you are awesome for advocating for such a great man. He will be missed.

    good luck trying to implement into your lessons ... somehow i suspect it will be easier said than done ...

    thing is fox is rarely incorrect. the information they present is news...accurate even. ts how they present it and what they present that makes them such an efficient propaganda tool.

    i just watched shaun of the dead and decided to see what was on fox before turning off the tv, it was some show called red eye. i only watched a few minutes but it was a segment where a guy summed up a story in a sentence or two and the host and some guests commented on it also. there was something about a plan to give homeless people a free bus ticket to their families...the comments were what a scam and waste of money it was, one commented it was a bad reality show - bum swap. then it turned to wiki leaks and one of the girls snapped 'go back to australia' and something about how white he was then everyone else called him names and commented on how pale and weird he was.

    and that segment sums up fox op/ed and its audience - a bunch of hate filled people who instead of actually discussing anything just want to attack and call people names. not that the democrats are much better, when barney frank went off on that lady many here thought he did a great thing. bum swap? really?? stay classy fox
