Was thinking, This festival happens in Sept. down South (Maryland). Pearl Jam might/could play it this year? First few years it was held in Baltimore (Pimlico Racetrack) and had big band names (RHCP, The Who first year. NIN/STP second year and so forth). Then it moved to Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD a few years back. Only problem I see as to why they wouldn't play it this year is it's free. Also most of the main bands that play there now are not "top tier" bands

I've wanted to go for the past 2 years but didn't get tickets. But for this year, if I get the internship I interviewed for, I'll be working it!!!

Jack white, skrillex, m83, nas, Ben folds five, ZZ top and more. The "free" tix go on sale on aug. 24 at noon :-)

I gave up on this festival after the made it free. I went to the 2 years before and it rocked. Just happened to check the site out of nowhere yesterday and was shocked to see Jack White and Nas. How the hell do you get tix now since it's free? I'm falling behind a bit ha.

yeah same here. I went to the very first year with RHCP, The Who and others and thought it was cool. Last year had a decent line-up but i couldn't get tix for it. Few years before that were let-downs as far as acts go, IMO

I tried to get free tickets last year on the multiple "sales" they had. I almost said screw it and bought the $50 ticket which included a shirt and a poster I believe.

Hmm that's not bad...I'd easily pay $50 to see Jack White rip it alone so that's a steal.

Im going to try to get tix, but wont be too dissapointed if I dont. Really just going for Jack White, M83, and Nas.

Anyone get lucky and get any tix yet? I tried to order them through my iphone at 12 but was unsuccessful. Got a message that said they were unavailable :(

I was wishy washy about trying to go for this, went for tix, and was shut out. Now that I looked at how the trip is for me, Im not going to go for tix today.

Good luck with getting tix today! If you dont get them, at least the ticket is only $50.

Scored two in the presale yesterday (on my work computer...I wasn't taking the chance on my iPhone) and bought one of the freemium tix for our son. I figure the poster, shirt and free soda will more than make up for the $50 donation....even though I would have donated it without all that swag

Looking forward to Jack White, NAS, M83, ZZ Top, Portugal. the Man and Porter & Zedd.

So far I've only heard of one person getting tix...and that's the person above!

I got shut out and now I guess I will wait until the day or two before to grab one and head down probably
