I just picked up this CD because Jason Lytle (of Grandaddy) was one of many contributors to this awesome compilation. it is a sweet mix of people with groovy tunes. Also on the disc are:
-the flaming lips
-James Mercer (shins, broken bells)
-MArk Linkous
-Julien Casabalancas
-Iggy Pop
-suzanne Vega
-Vic Chestnutt
-David lynch

Good mix, check it out if you dig any of these folks ;)

    You forgot Frank Black!

    It is a pretty good album, but it's a downer knowing that Linkous killed himself shortly after it was made. Great, versatile list of guest singers.

    I don't see Frank Blacks name on there...am i crazy?
    I just googled a few of the musicians on there and saw that too, that Linkous killed himself...so sad. I'm not sure if it is him singing or not on tr 4-5, but I loved those the first time I heard them and thought that i would have to check out that guys other stuff too. RIP.
