    We're doing renovations at the shop i work in... i thought it was the dust that was bothering my skin.
    I look at my feet and they're covered in bites.. Mother fuckers!!!! :x

    We've got a ton here, more than usually with the recent heavy rains. But I've never seen so many anywhere as I've seen in the forests of Washington and British Columbia. Holy crap. They must be a totally different breed because the ones that live here bug out when it dips below like 65 degrees.

    i've often considered becomming buddhist but i just can't part with the fact i couldnt kill mosquitos.

    I pretty much shower myself in DEET any time I need to be outside for more than 5 minutes in any area that might have mosquitoes. I missed an elbow once, and I had 4 or 5 bites there.

    Living near the Great Salt Lake, they come in masses and they are brutal.

    Fuck mosquitos. Other than being fare for other living creatures I see know logical reason for their existence.

    they are eaten by bats. a cave (or whatever) filled with bats can eat a dump truck load of mosquitoes in a single night. they say a single bat eats up to 600 mosquitoes an hour. some bat colonies are a million+ strong

    that is ridiculous.

    None here (which I love and give thanks to each day after growing up in Indiana) unless you go to higher altitude in the mountains where there's still snow on the ground, then you can get devoured in about 30 seconds.
