My Morning Jacket is playing five nights in a row in NYC soon, playing a different album in it's entirety each night, along with music they were listening to at the time when the album was being wrote. pretty cool idea i do think. If you had to choose only one PJ album to see live, which would you choose?

I'd have to go with PJ Avacado (with Vs. and Yield very close behind)
2008 - Mansfield
2008 - Montreal (EV Solo)
2011 - East Troy PJ20
2011 - Ottawa
2014 - Denver
2015 - Rio de Janeiro
2016 - Toronto x2
2018 - Boston x2
2022 - Quebec, Hamilton, Toronto

  • Great idea! PJ should definitely do this...maybe 9 dates leading up to their 20 year anniversary...

    Yield
    Binaural
    Vs.
    Ten
    Riot Act
    No Code
    Vitalogy
    Avocado*

Avocado last just because they already did that with that album.

Probably in order they were released (except with Riot Act last). That's not in order of my favorite PJ albums, but Ten was their biggest record and to be able to say I saw them perform it live in order would be great.

  • Vitalogy with Hard To Imagine and Out of My Mind as the encore. (and I'd use Betterman as my beer/bathroom break).

I agree completely with this. But... we all know PJ plays WAY more than 12-14 songs in a show... So if they could do Yield for the encore... This would be SO SO SO SWEET.

    Dear Pearl Jam,

    Please do this.

    Sincerely,

    Greg
