Pearl Jam Community, I need your help!

So they're bringing back the HFStival in the D.C/Maryland area this year. This annual event was once one of the biggest concert events on the east coast, but when WHFS became a Spanish channel, the festival soon died out. Now HFS is back as an HD radio station and this year they are bringing back the HFStival.

My band, Silvertongue, is one of 20 local acts in contention to open the festivities. from now until august 1st, they are conduction on-line voting, the top 6 bands with the most votes get to perform in front of judges, who then make the final decision as to who gets the spot.

I come to you for help. I need people to vote for Silvertongue at the HFS website. its really easy, you don't need to give them any info to do it, its simply just point and click. We are a Pearl Jam influenced band and I know that if we make the top six, we can get that top spot. So please, I ask for your help and support.

Hey guys, in support of our run to open the WHFStival this year, my band, Silvertongue, will be playing an acoustic gig at California Tortilla in Alexandria on July 30th from 7-9 PM.

I'm going to the hfstival this weekend. I was going to post about it so I searched on hfs and that's how I found this thread...

is anyone from here going? Billy Idol will be there and he is great. Never thought I would like him and I saw him at another festival about 4 yrs ago. Fuel with their new line up, but with the original front man Brett, will be there.
