Hey just talked to Amoeba in LA and they have both of those LP's for 30 bucks, would love to snag the Vs, but don't live in LA so figure I would post it here!

If anyone in the LA area would like to snag that Vs. for me I would love you forever!!

I think it might be gone already...but I'll keep my eyes open when I'm there this weekend.

yep...when PJ vinyl shows up for sale at Amoeba, it's typically gone real quick.....and its not like they price them low either, they know their ebay prices, and usually expect to pay just as much as ebay, except you get to inspect it before shelling out the cash.

it seems its just how lucky you are when you walk in, its all about timing -
here's a few PJ vinyl i was able to score there (all at separate times), expensive, but i went for it anyway:

    - Lost Dogs : $100
    - Binaural : $125
    - Mirrorball : $75
    - No Code : $75

on the other hand, this is what they paid me cash money for my (all still sealed) LP's:
    - MMJ Okonokos - $15
    - Soundgarden Badmotorfinger - $7
    - Nirvana In Utero Albini version - $12
    - Radiohead Best of boxset - $30

just for kicks i asked what they pay for Into the Wild - they said $25 or so, and No Code - offered $16 (after I bought it from them for 75!)
I asked what the deal was with the lowballer prices, and the lady told me they dont pay "collector" prices - so I thought to myself, "that's real funny, because you sure have no problem selling them at "collector" prices."

I have also spotted the ever-so elusive "Live at Soldier Field" vinyl there, earlier this year, and they were asking $250 for it, didnt buy it, kind of wish i did..... :( maybe after i'm done with it I can take it and sell it back to them for $20
