In light of all the misunderstood quotes from the past week (gee, thanks Seattle Weekly), I found this news on the Easy Street web site:

(IMO, Mike and the brothers Friel need to do a little Rockfords reuniting! Maybe Carrrie can take a break from Motherhood! )

Pearl Jam Tour Ends, Weekly Stirs The Pot

Pearl Jam officially ended their Backspacer tour with an appearance at Lisbon's Optimus Festival Sunday night. The Seattle Weekly likely scared the bejesus out of some PJ fans when they printed a comment Eddie Vedder made during the show: "Thank you for coming to our last show. Not our last ever, but our last in a long time." PJ publicist Nicole Vanderberg later explained in an e-mail to the Weekly, "He says that at the end of all tours, because the tour has ended. The remark may have gotten a little lost in translation." The tour may be over for PJ, but some of its members won't be getting much R&R. Stone Gossard reportedly will soon begin rehearsals with Brad (their new album, Best Friends, drops 8/10), Matt Cameron will start getting that other band of his in shape for Lollapalooza and Jeff Ament will again re-form his '80s hardcore band, Deranged Diction, this time for a set at Missoula's Total Fest in August.
I will not lose my Faith, it's an Inside job today....

Not that I could go, but that Missoula Fest looks fun. Anybody went there last year?
