What is the story here? Was this a secret show? It's not listed on this website but I just heard a recording of it.

I remember it being around 250 per ticket? Dont quote me... That might have been balcony and more for lodge, or vise-versa.

It was a great show -- the Beacon is an 80-year old small theater. i wish they would add it to the setlist stats on the website.

you had to make a donation of $100 to the Robin Hood Foundation for the right to buy tickets and then the tickets ranged from $250-$10,000 each. the $10,000 tickets included a meet and greet with the band after the show.

  • Just finished listening to this amazing show on FLAC... WOW! WMA was nothing short of brilliant with the background vocals. And I've never heard Masters of War like this before. They should release this on vinyl a la Benaroya Hall.

I think the background vocals worked better at the Beacon than they did at the 2008 MSG shows (same songs, same background vocals at each show). And i loved the acoustic set.

Exactly. I bought two tix at $350/ea but the total was $800 after the <minimum> donation was met, and they were out of the $250/ea seats by the time I pulled the trigger. Robin Hood Foundation did send me a notice following it that allowed me to take a charitible contributions deduction on my tax return for I believe $600 though. Very memorable night - smallest room I'll ever see PJ in I'm sure.

(Also - my pic on here is actually from that night. 3rd row, balcony, pretty much dead center)
