deer dont use shovels or remove hanging baskets off of a home's porch.
mikalina, we have ourselves a two legged prick, possibly a team effort.
it is happening at a senior living complex near here.

    yes we have deer.
the deer told me this morning they enjoy your flowers.

That is very sad. How terrible to take flowers from a senior complex. I hope it stops soon.

Fear not. I was completely crestfallen after reading this thread, so I have invented a flower theft deterrent. Works on all species of pest.

My dad had that happening when he owned an art gallery / frame shop in a nice town on Long Island. They would mess with his concrete planters and steal his plants out of them too.

So he put vaseline on the planters and put picture wire around each small plant - just a loop and continued on to the next plant, all in a row. Just enough trouble so they move on.

I have a lot of flowers and plants and planters and a bistro table set outside of my store in a shopping center. One day I came in and some fucker took everything. ...within 24 hours I replaced everything, and then I bolted everything down with heavy duty chain.

It's been all over The Porch for the last month. :D I'm framing them for board members. The more people ordered framing, the more I could get the price down, until we hit the lowest price at 31+ posters. ...then more and more and more and more people ordered.
