So the other night I went through all of the shows that I have been to and made my dream and best of setlist from all of the songs that I have heard in concert. There might have been songs that I like better, but not having heard them they are not eligible. I also picked my favorite version of the songs that I have heard multiple times. I also made sure that at least one song from each show was represented. (Obviously if you've been to 30+ shows that would be tough)

This is definitely an easier thing to do the fewer shows that you have been to, but it is still a lot fun. The requirements is that the versions must be from the shows that you yourself attended and also try to make it a realistic setlist. No opening with Grievance or closing with Even Flow!

I have made sure that I didn't pack in too many crazy rockin' songs. Have to make sure that Eddie could actually put a set like this together! So here it goes:

My 9 shows: LA 3, La 4, SD, Philly 4 (2009) Hartford, Boston, Newark, MSG 1, MSG 2 (2010)

It's nice to see you showing Newark some love. I thought the guys sounded fantastic (have not yet heard the boot, husband has it in his car and is not sharing).

I don't have the time to make up my own setlist, so I'll offer one song - -no, two songs.

My favorite PJ song is "Rearviewmirror," and nothing will top Camden 2 2008 for me. If anyone can point me to video of that, I'd be grateful.

Betterman at Mansfield 1 2008 also was a very special experience, so that's my second song. :)

Getting distracted... Immortality definitely was a highlight at Philly 1 for me.

Parting Ways at Philly 3 was awesome.

Highlights of the Newark show would have to include Got Some, which I thought sounded great, and You Are; and I've alluded to my reaction to In Hiding elsewhere. :D

Didn't they dedicate that RVM to the wrongfully jailed guy? If so than I LOVE that version as well.

Oh and that frigging In Hiding was awesome!! I blew out my chords on that, was the first time I heard it, so I was so excited and having Immortality before that was just nuts. Newark, setlist wise, wow what a show.

I actually did choose my "favorite" encore breaks. The first was from San Diego when Ed mentioned changing his shirt and the second was from Hartford, where he talked about wishing his family and friends were witnesses of that show.

My only "problem" with the set was that I felt like I left out San Diego, where I was able to score 5th row tickets on Mike's side. I mean I honestly cannot tell you which show was my all time favorite. Every single one has so many amazing moments from:

LA 3: my first show ever and having Chris Cornell there, wow!!
LA 4: Such an amazing set list, one of the best of my shows
SD: 5TH ROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and got a pick, plus a fabulous set list.
Philly 4: What can I say, that hasn't already been said. I mean an epic, once in a lifetime kind of a show.
Hartford: The trials it took to make it to the first show of the 2010 made this one special, plus a good set list and great seats center of the floor about 24 rows back.
Boston: Opened with my first ever RELEASE!! The set was so diverse and the song choices were amazing. Crowd was one of the best I have seen. Could be my favorite show of the tour.
Newark: Where do I start: Immortality, Alone (again!) In Hiding, Brother, Supersonic (to finish hearing all of Backspacer), Inside Job, Brain of J, and my first Go. Wow I had so many firsts of songs that I absolutely love. This show would have been by far my favorite if they happened to play Release here instead of Boston.
MSG 1: As bizarre as this comes across this is probably my least favorite show that I have been to. I did get Down and heard Leash which wrapped Vs. for me, but other than that the crowd energy is really what made the show.
MSG: wow another spectacular crowd. The noise and energy level was INSANE!! Slow Lukin, Black Red and Yellow, an AMAZING Present Tense, and one of my all time favorites: Breath. Also one of the best back to back sing alongs Better Man and Black.

I love re-living these shows, thanks so much for the bootlegs guys!! Can't wait to see them again, though my bank account still hasn't recovered!
