They told us that the name of the beer came from the a place in boston called dogfish head. Im from the philly area, thankfully there are places around here that carry it as well. If your ever in del or oc md area i highly recommend doing the tour. The four free samples they give are genius imo,90 dollars later i'd say they have a smart thing going on there.

Yes! There are few favorite places of mine that have it on tap. That 90 will fuck you up before you realize it.

    Man, I'm jealous....so good.

I've had the 120 minute (20% ipa), Worldwide stout (18% stout), Olde School Barleywine (15% I think), Red & White, Black & Blue, Squall, Burton Baton, Chateau Jiahu, Fort, Immort Ale, Liquor De Malt, Midas Touch, Palo Santo Maroon, Pangaea, Punkin, Rasin D'entre, Rasin D'extra, Sah'tea.... I think that's it.

Still have some 120 min, WWS, and Olde School in my basement.

Such a great brewery and I want to hit the brewery in a bad way. I will some day.

The brewery is really fun, but it's advisable to actually abide their 4-beer limit, or your evening can be wrecked.

I think a lot of their beers are over-the-top, which is pretty much the point. I'm a huge fan of Indian Brown Ale, one of their less exciting beers.

Dogfish makes some great, great beers. I could drink the 60 and 90 min all day. Mmmmm! And yeah, they pack a punch! :D

I do think they tend to go overboard at times with some of their ideas/concepts, but they do manage to pull off some interesting and tasty concoctions at times.

They make some very good beers and some that i can't stand, but i give them credit as a brewery for trying ne things.

The 60 and 90 as mentioned is good.

Perhaps my fav by them ins their Indian Brown Ale. Love it. Perhaps my favorite brown

the fish and chips at their brew pub were some of the best I've ever had, highly recommend if you ever make it there (the one in Rehobith Beach, spelling???)

their punkin ale is by far one of my favorite beers and best pumpkin ales on the market.

hits the shelves around september, and taken off at the end of october. catch this one if you can! it's amazing. i usually buy 2 or 3 cases and just store them for the winter time use.

Boston area, and I've tried a lot of their varieties.

Watch yourself with the 90's. They will knock you on your ass (and often give me hiccups as well).

For those of you that collect posters, these guys are doing limited edition art prints by Marq Spusta of some of their brews ... (if you go to their site, you'll see the artwork used)

    So far they've done:

    Festina Peche

Rumor has it that pumpkin will be the next print.

love the 120 (it comes out 4 times a year and one of those times is my b-day). the palo brown, love the choco-vanilla flavor. the others are hit 'n miss, but still interesting to try. can't wait to be able to have beer again in like 2 weeks.

Is the Aprihop available all year, or is it a seasonal?
    Had it once, loved it.

I think it's seasonal. It's a lot more apri than hop.

Not really at Milton, but plenty at Rehoboth Beach - it's about 4 blocks from the beach.

The 90 Minute IPA is excellent. I'd definitely recommend it.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

Dare I say their beers are almost too flavorful and concentrated. Feels like your drinking beer serum. Yummy, though.

One of the best American craft brewers out there. As was stated above they're always trying new stuff and seem to have quite a vision for where they want to take their brand. If anybody wants to know more about them, I'd suggest checking out the documentary Beer Wars, where they provided a large story arc to the film.

Marq will have a variant on his site. I got both of the above earlier this year and they were cheaper than what the brewery was selling them for...

EDIT: Just checked their web site, I wanted to see the new Spusta if it was there... But it's not. I think you saw the 2009 prints that are left overs... No new Spusta yet. We still wait or number 3 for 2010...
