So,
unbeknown to me, Bill Stills, the creator of the now infamous Money Masters VHS (back in 1996), has redoubled his efforts and in 2009 released a "sequel" to his original ingenuous film, entitled Money Masters 2: The Secrets of Oz

It is currently up at this japanese youtube wannabe site:
youku.com - Money Masters 2

It is MUCH shorter than the original, which was nearly 4 freaking hours (and EVERY BIT AMAZING, i may add) ... this one comes in at a paltry 112 minutes by comparison.

However he does a little bit better condensing the ideas, it is MUCH more current as far as events are concerned -- right off the bat getting in to the 08 credit crisis and more ... and though its always hard to figure out WHOSE ideas are the right ones, when it comes to monitary reform, I believe Bill Stills is, pardon the pun, ON THE MONEY ... at least more so than some of the other "liberty movement" crowd.

Anyhow, for anyone who has never taken a SERIOUS look at the issues facing our monetary policy, i HIGHLY recommend looking at this film, and even going back to the original, if you can stomach the poor video quality (although it is still VERY relevant and revelatory).

Also, if you have time, you may want to try and find the torrent for Milton Friedman's "Free To Choose" series, which was published twice, in the late 80's and early 90's. It is a 12 part series, an hour each, of Milton discussing free market policies, and then at the end he has panels (which are different depending on which release you get 80s or 90s) where people like Donald Rumsfeld and folks from the G30 thinktank and Rockefeller camps try to grill him and flame his policies, while he defends them and makes asses out of the panel.

Good stuff, and great to see if you are looking for some sensible (if not radical) FREE MARKET reforms ... and not some silly Utopian horseshit like Zeitgeist and Zeitgeist Addendum propose.

Check it out,
with Steve Brule.

If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?
