HUGE + 1veddertown wrote:AIC sound immense to me and I'm starting to think of it as a bonus now because a half hour of PJ we may not have heard otherwise is always good no matter how bored you may be of Even Flow or Given To Fly. We'd all trade our cosy homes for a place in front of this stage and don't you deny it now..

On pretty much every other song in the catalog I agree. But Porch I love it in every single one of its forms.drsluggo wrote:

Though I am impartial to the 2000 versions where it was slightly slower, more crunchy, and had much more turmoil in its mood.0 -
Porch in Hartford a few months ago was one of the best versions in years.0

Ugh, I hate this song. Not as much as I hate The Fixer but yeah, ATW sucks.0

I want some paella. But market will close before I can manage to get there.

Looks like I haven't wasted $$$$$$ being at this show. PJ are really sucking on mixing up the setlists this tour...so what its been a festival run, every fan pretty much knows the entire catalogue. You can still play Even Flow and Alive etc but mix it up! I think this tour is 10 shows and only 1 song off Riot Act and Binaural.
And I told this to Mike's face!0 -
Gotta go to bed, am disappearing down a grunge timewarp - and I hardly ever listened to AIC! - I'm alone in an empty spanish room!!

I was to the side of the stage on Mike's side, very close. Probably 15 feet from Mike.pearljamn247 wrote:cutuphalfdead wrote:Porch in Hartford a few months ago was one of the best versions in years.

I was blown away when i heard then the first time with the new singer - i had low expectations but they simply killed it - i couldn't believe how good cantrell still plays/sounds and duvall does an excellent staley impression. Not to mention their new album is at least as good as Backspacer ... and now i wait for abuse0 -
yep, really got to go to sleep now.
Thanks for relay
