As we are ever approaching the 20th anniversary im always wondering how will tickets be distributed for the show(s). i cant begin to even suggest how it will be done. demand will far outstrip demand. will Pj do one massive show or numerous shows in different cities in USA? Will tickets be based on ten club seniority? will fans outside USA be stopped from buying them. its going to be a nitemare. maybe the fairest way is all those who want to go, to email tenclub and the lucky winners will be selected at complete random. this seems fair but i dont know. i would love to go and will be travelling from ireland to go, no mater where it is. but can i get a ticket? any idean of how this will be done fairest?

i wish i wish i wish i wish, i guess it never stops

I suppose it will be just you in the audience? I can live with that, but bring the new iphone and record it in HD.

Showbox Market right? Or was it Showbox SoDo?

I think you will find that it won't be hard at all and that you will be saving yourself a shitload of trouble and money, since no such event is likely to take place.

A little birdy told me it will be wristbands....not tickets....and it won't be as simple as just adding them to your cart online....

I just doubt this is going to happen....If it does happen?...I think it would be held at the Gorge...I don't see pearl jam playing at Key Arena again anytime soon..

A weekend at the Gorge would be awesome, but not great for the old carbon footprint. :)

Why do people keep thinking that this could happen?
There are NO bands that do a 20th anniv. show or even a tour
    it would be nice
but don't hold your collective breath

I think there will be at least a North American tour next year, sort of a 20th anniversary one since Ten came out in 1991. They may not always mention it that way. Between the two, I would rather them do a 20th anniversary tour than a one off show.

Fuckin liar. Whether it's on your ticket or mine, if there's a show somewhere this Oct, me and you are going. Even if it's during the MMJ shows in NYC. Just scalp those fuckers and head over to Logan with me.

It was started from when the re-releases were planned... official copy said they would be released building up to the 20th anniversary. People just assumed there would be a show. Though I have heard they thought about doing something for the 20th but it was said to be next year. So... who knows.

I've heard speculation of this before, but what I'm wondering is if the band has plans for Fall shows, not just a 20th ann. show... Would they really take from Aug through til Spring next year off? I wouldn't think so.

why not? if you fill that key arena with only pearl jam 10club paying member's (no 2 pair ticket's per member, just 1 ticket per paying member), it would do well.

I don't think there ar eany more 2010 shows- maybe bridge school. I think Soundgarden may tour. I think PJ plays short 3/4 week legs thorughout 2011 as their 20th anniversary run.

I brought the exact same thing up a few weeks ago and that is false. A board member posted a list of obscure metal bands than no one have ever heard of a few weeks ago that all had anniversary shows apparently. Pearl Jam definitely fits in that demographic therefore they must be playing a 20th anniversary show.

    I've heard they're incorporating the 20th anniversary show into their mini tour of northern England scheduled for late October/early November. Confirmed venues so far are;

    Carlisle
    Barrow
    Lancaster
    Barnsley
    Morpeth

With another 4 dates expected for confirmation over the next week. They are going for grass-roots venues such as social clubs and working mens clubs, although it is rumoured that they are trying to get a mid-sized village hall booked for one of the venues.

I have all this information from a reliable source, I never talk shite.
